Applications for Aid - Summer Term

• If you are an AASU student requesting Pell Grant, HOPE Scholarship and/or Stafford Loans for summer, click here to complete the form. The priority deadline for continuing students for Summer aid applications is April 4, 2008.

If your Stafford lender is not listed on our Electronic Lenders List, complete the Student Loan Request Form. This form must be printed, completed and submitted to our office. If your lender is not listed on that form, please provide our office with a school certification form, which can be obtained from your lender.


• If you would like to request a PLUS or Grad PLUS loan for summer term, click here to complete the loan request.


• If your PLUS or Grad PLUS lender is not listed on our Electronic Lenders List, you must complete the Parent PLUS/Grad PLUS Loan Request Form and the Nelnet PLUS Pre-Screening Form. These forms must be printed, completed, and submitted to our office.


• If you are attending another school during summer term and would like to have your enrollment at the host school be considered when packaging your aid for summer term, you must submit a Letter of Good Standing from the Registrar’s Office. You must also submit the consortium agreement. Please note consortium agreements do not serve as payment and your host school may demand payment prior to AASU’s disbursement.


• If you are NOT an AASU student, AASU does not process your aid. You must contact your financial aid office at your home school and ask about their process for transient students. Many schools do not participate in consortium agreements. Consortium agreements do not serve as payment to AASU and classes may be dropped unless timely payment is received.
